Privacy Policy
MISSION HEIGHT NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL ("MHS", "we", "us") provides a school management portal used by schools, staff, students, parents/guardians, and registered agents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or portal, you agree to the practices described here.
Where a school enables online classroom surveillance or video lesson features, video data is controlled by the subscribing school and is used solely for the school's internal monitoring and instructional purposes. MHS acts as a service provider facilitating this feature and does not independently use such footage for other purposes.
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and payment processing providers), or where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
We retain school, student, and agent data for as long as an account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or record-keeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
We apply role-based access controls, secure authentication, and other reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information stored on the portal. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we encourage schools and agents to use strong passwords and keep login credentials confidential.
Security Tip: Always use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available.
In line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act and applicable regulations, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate operational and legal requirements. School administrators are responsible for managing access requests relating to student and staff data entered into their school's account.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand how visitors use our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. For more information, please see our cookie consent banner when you first visit our site.
Student data is submitted and managed by schools, not directly by children. We rely on schools and guardians to ensure appropriate consent is obtained where required for the processing of student information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
